Note to Christians and atheists: I want you to be patient and open your eyes and understand a few English words.

Warning: Do not consider this article as a way by which I'm promoting Islam, or spreading terror or criticizing other religions, ethnic groups or cults by any means. This article is solely for educational purpose written elucidating misunderstandings amongst people and if possible to promote harmony among various religions and sects.

I want to make some things clear about Islam and the way people think about Islam, especially that terrorism part and would like to concentrate on other immoral activities prevailing.

For example we are seeing today Sunni Muslims fighting and killing Shiite Muslims every day, each claiming the other is not Muslim. There were no Sunni or Shiite during the time of the Prophet

The Quran contains at least 109 verses that call Muslims to war with nonbelievers for the sake of Islamic rule. (Refer Source #1)

Fighting is prescribed for you, and ye dislike it. But it is possible that ye dislike a thing which is good for you, and that ye love a thing which is bad for you. But Allah knoweth, and ye know not. (Qur'an Ch. 2, V 216)

O you who have believed, avoid much [negative] assumption. Indeed, some assumption is sin. And do not spy or backbite each other. Would one of you like to eat the flesh of his brother when dead? You would detest it. And fear Allah ; indeed, Allah is Accepting of repentance and Merciful. (Qur'an Ch. 49, V 12)

There were no Sunni or Shiite during the time of the Prophet .Which one is right and which is wrong. They cannot both be right because their interpretations are so different that they are killing each other claiming the other is not Islamic. (Refer Source #3)

By time, Indeed, mankind is in loss, Except for those who have believed and done righteous deeds and advised each other to truth and advised each other to patience. (Qur'an Ch 103)

I'm just saying you can not judge an entire religion based upon some people who, obviously, do not follow the religion correctly. If we were to do that then you'd have to say that every religion is a religion of hate then, now wouldn't you? (Refer Source #5)

The devil promiseth you destitution and enjoineth on you lewdness. But Allah promiseth you forgiveness from Himself with bounty. Allah is All-Embracing, All-knowing.
(Qur'an Ch. 2, V 268)

Why do girls become pornstars? Because they like the attention, fame, money, sex or any combination thereof. (Refer Source #6)

If a man commits adultery with the wife of his neighbor, both the adulterer and the adulteress shall surely be put to death. (Leviticus 20:10 -Refer Source #7)

Within Christianity there are a variety of views on the issues of sexual orientation and homosexuality. ...and whether or not it is condemned – has become the subject of debate. This debate concerns, at the very least, the proper interpretation of the Levitical code; the story of Sodom and Gomorrah; and various Pauline passages, and whether these verses condemn same-sex sexual activities. (Refer Source #8)

The people of Lot denied the messengers, ....."Do you approach males among the worlds, And leave what your Lord has created for you as mates? But you are a people transgressing (limits)."(Qur'an Ch. 26, V 160, 165, 166)

If a man lies with a male as with a woman, both of them have committed an abomination; they shall surely be put to death; their blood is upon them. (Leviticus 20:13 -Refer Source #8)

He who obeys the Messenger has obeyed Allah. (Qur'an Ch. 4, V 80)

And had your Lord willed, those on earth would have believed - all of them entirely. Then, [O Muhammad], would you compel the people in order that they become believers? (Qur'an Ch. 10, V 99)

And if Allah had willed, He could have made you [of] one religion, but He causes to stray whom He wills and guides whom He wills. And you will surely be questioned about what you used to do. (Qur'an Ch. 16, V 93)

Teach me to do your will, for you are my God; may your good Spirit lead me on level ground.
(Psalm 143:10 Refer Source #9)

Unlike nearly all of the Old Testament verses of violence, the verses of violence in the Quran are mostly open-ended, meaning that they are not restrained by the historical context of the surrounding text. (Refer Source #1)

We do not abrogate a verse or cause it to be forgotten except that We bring forth [one] better than it or similar to it. Do you not know that Allah is over all things competent?
(Qur'an Ch. 2, V 106)

Some people drank alcoholic beverages in the morning (of the day) of the Uhud battle and on the same day they were killed as martyrs, and that was before wine was prohibited. (Sahih Bukhari Vol 6, Book 60, No. 142 Refer Source #10)

They question thee about strong drink and games of chance. Say: In both is great sin, and (some) utility for men; but the sin of them is greater than their usefulness. And they ask thee what they ought to spend. Say: that which is superfluous. Thus Allah maketh plain to you (His) revelations, that haply ye may reflect. (Qur'an Ch. 2, V 219).

The Messenger of Allah said: ‘Allah wills good for a person, He causes him to understand the religion.’. (Sunan Ibn e Majah 220 Refer Source #11)

Surah Al Mumtahinah

It is only as regards those who fought against you on account of religion, and have driven you out of your homes, and helped to drive you out, that Allah forbids you to befriend them. And whosoever will befriend them, then such are the Zalimun (wrong-doers those who disobey Allah). (Qur'an Ch. 60, V 9)

And the retribution for an evil act is an evil one like it, but whoever pardons and makes reconciliation - his reward is [due] from Allah . Indeed, He does not like wrongdoers. (Qur'an Ch. 42, V 40)

And if you punish [an enemy, O believers], punish with an equivalent of that with which you were harmed. But if you are patient - it is better for those who are patient. (Qur'an Ch. 16, V 126)

Tell those who believe to forgive those who hope not for the days of Allah; in order that He may requite folk what they used to earn. (Qur'an Ch. 45, V 14)

So be patient with gracious patience. (Qur'an Ch. 70, V 5)
